One Song can spark a moment
One Flower can wake the dream
One Tree can start a forest
One Bird can herald spring
One Smile begins a friendship
One Handclasp lifts a soul
One Star can guide a ship at sea
One Word can frame the goal
One Vote can change a nation
One Sunbeam lights a room
One Candle wipes out darkness
One Laugh will conquer gloom
One Step must start each journey
One Word must start each prayer
One Hope will raise our spirits
One Touch can show you care
One Voice can speak with wisdom
One Heart can know what's true
One Life can make the difference
You see, it's up to YOU
“Today I release myself from the need to judge anyone, particularly those who are most dissimilar to me. Rather than reacting in a spirit of anger or hate to those who disagree with me or who insult me, I will ask myself, ‘What can I learn from this experience?’ I will allow myself to be a reflection of the spiritual essence within me. I will release myself from every lie, every bitter thought, and every preconceived idea that has taken root within my mind. I will allow those who cross my path to have the same freedom that I give myself. On this day I will live every moment to its fullest. If any adversity or obstacle should come my way, I will meet it with fortitude and strength. I am whole, evolved, and complete within myself. The choices I make today will the ones that are best for me. If others do not accept my choices, that is a choice they are free to make and part of their journey, not mine. I will walk away from those who react to the world and/or its inhabitants with bitterness, hostility, hatred, judgement, envy, criticism, greed, and/or resentment, for I choose to surround myself only with those who are capable of kindness, love, honesty, empathy, and compassion.”
I'm convinced that an overactive, busy mind is a true burden that interferes with our natural wisdom, common sense, and happiness.

I hope that as you become familiar with the peace and joy that come from having less on your mind, you too will agree.

Richard Carlson
Accepting every moment as sacred and just what we need relieves us of the tendency to judge experiences negatively.
Melody Beattie
You are not the victim of the world you see, but of your own thoughts. Let go of control and trust that there is a higher intelligence working in perfect order. Allow it to be. By believing and trusting that all is well in your world, you create peace and harmony. Only doubt and fear will stop you from being happy.
Gudrun Kretschman
Expand your awareness.
As you expand your awareness, you expand your ability to feel happy.
You can do this quite simply by allowing your awareness to be as contracted as it is and as expanded as it is.
The more you embrace both sides, the more you can recognize the vastness that is your basic nature.
Give love instead of trying to get it.
If you look for others to give you love, you will often be unhappy.
However, if you allow yourself to be as loving as you can for no reason at all, you will instantly feel happier.

Be There

Be there

Wherever you are, be there fully. For where you are is where you can most effectively act and live.

If you're constantly wishing that you were somewhere else, you diminish the opportunities for where you are now. When your thoughts are in another place or time, your actions lose much of their effectiveness.

It's great to dream, to plan, to aspire, to reach for new and improved circumstances. And yet the way to successfully do that is by being the best you can be in the place where you now find yourself.

It's great to keep yourself focused on an ambitious goal. And that focus is the most effective when it is crafted from the perspective of where you are now.

To successfully travel the path from here to there, you must start with being fully here. The more you give your attention and your energy to making the most of where you are, the more quickly you'll move along that path.

There is much to be accomplished, much to be lived in every place and in every moment. Be there fully for all of them, and life will be rich indeed.
-- Ralph Marston
It's never crowded along the extra mile.

Love is the ability and willingness to allow those that you care for to be what they choose for themselves without any insistence that they satisfy you.

--Dr. Wayne Dyer
Proven Ways to Get Along Better With EVERYONE

1. Before you say anything to anyone, ask yourself 3 things:
-- Is it true?
-- Is it kind?
-- Is it necessary?

2. Make promises sparingly and keep them faithfully.

3. Never miss the opportunity to compliment or say something encouraging to someone.

4. Refuse to talk negatively about others; don't gossip and don't listen to gossip.

5. Have a forgiving view of people. Believe that most people are doing the best they can.

6. Keep an open mind; discuss, but don't argue. (It is possible to disagree without being disagreeable.)

7. Forget about counting to 10. Count to 1,000 before doing or saying anything that could make matters worse.

8. Let your virtues speak for themselves.

9. If someone criticizes you, see if there is any TRUTH to what he is saying; if so, make changes. If there is no truth to the criticism, ignore it and live so that no one will believe the negative remark.

10. Cultivate your sense of humor; laughter is the shortest distance between two people.
